We started Praxis Reviews because most software reviews aren't written for the buyers who actually need them. The big affiliate sites are written from a US or Western European perspective — they don't know what an Indian dropshipper pays in INR, whether a Filipino solopreneur can accept PayMongo, or which platforms work over a 4G mobile connection in Tier-2 cities.
We focus on the markets the others overlook. And because every recommendation we publish has an affiliate link attached, we've made our methodology public — so you can see exactly how we arrive at a verdict, and judge for yourself whether to trust it.
We earn commissions when readers click our affiliate links and purchase a product. Those commissions fund the site. But we never accept payment to change a verdict, rank a product higher, or remove a competitor from a comparison.
If you read a Praxis comparison and we recommend Product A over Product B, it's because we believe Product A is the better fit for the buyer described — not because A pays us more.

We don't review software randomly. For each new comparison page, we select products that share three properties:
For each comparison, our process is the same:
Hands-on signup. We create an account on every product we recommend, using a real email address and going through the actual signup flow as a buyer in the target market would. We note friction points: are credit card forms required when "free plan" is advertised? Does the onboarding ask for a phone number? Does the dashboard appear in English or the local language?
Feature exercise. For the core features that matter to the buyer profile (sales funnels for an entrepreneur platform; server speed for a VPN; deliverability for email software), we use them. Build a funnel. Send a test campaign. Connect a real domain. Run a speed test. Document what works, what's confusing, and what's marketing fiction.
Market-specific checks. This is where Praxis differs from US-focused review sites. For every product, we verify the things that matter in the target market specifically:
Cross-reference. We supplement hands-on testing with research from independent sources: official documentation, third-party reviews on G2, Capterra, and Trustpilot, and user discussions on Reddit and industry forums. Where third-party consensus differs from our hands-on experience, we say so.
Time invested. A meaningful test takes time. For each comparison published, we have spent a minimum of two weeks evaluating the products before writing the verdict.
Praxis comparisons always identify two winners, not one:
We use this two-winner format because real software decisions are not "Product A is the best." They're "Product A is best for these buyers; Product B is best for those buyers." Forcing a single winner hides useful information from the reader.
For each comparison, we evaluate both products across the same axes:

These axes are weighted differently per category — speed matters more for VPNs; integrations matter more for marketing platforms — and we explain the weighting in each comparison.
Software changes. Prices go up. Features get added. Affiliate programs get restructured. A review written in 2024 may be misleading by 2026.
Every published comparison shows the month and year of its last update at the top of the page. We aim to revisit each comparison at least twice a year, and we update immediately when:

Praxis Reviews is currently a focused publication, not a 50-reviewer team. This means we cover fewer products in greater depth, rather than thin coverage of everything. We are growing — the categories on the site reflect what we have validated, and we add new categories only when we can do them properly.
